Nicole Ferreira-Aaron joined M. Hamel-Smith & Co. immediately after qualifying as a lawyer in 1991. She started her career in the Disputes & Risk Management Department where she spent 4 years servicing some of the firm’s major clients in commercial litigation and mortgagee actions. Mrs. Ferreira-Aaron now handles a range of banking and finance work for several international banks. She has worked on complex corporate finance transactions such as secured and unsecured, syndicated and bilateral financings, project finance, acquisition finance and capital markets. With a litigation background, she brings to her practice a keen sensitivity to the risk aspects of finance documentation.

She is regarded as an expert in aviation lease purchase and finance, having been involved in the majority of aviation transactions concluded in Trinidad & Tobago in the past decade.
