Profile

Debra Thompson is a member of the firm’s Dispute & Risk Management Department. She has had considerable experience in Insurance, as well as in heavy and complex litigation and arbitration matters. She possesses management skills in a commercial environment, relates to and understands clients’ needs on a practical level, including commercial demands for prompt and solution-oriented results. She has been involved in major arbitrations involving construction contracts.

She is comfortable with matters involving voluminous documentary evidence and the use of local and international expert witnesses. Using good communication skills, she offers solid response and feedback. A firm believer in ADR, she is particular skilled in providing excellent support to clients throughout the duration of a matter.
