CANDICE FLEMING-MAHADEO

Following her admission to the bar in 2009, Candice began her career in a small law firm. She has appeared as Instructing Attorney in the High Court and Court of Appeal in a wide range of practice areas including corporate, construction, litigation, contract, personal injury, property, bankruptcy and tax law. She has also attended industrial disputes at conciliatory hearings at the Industrial Court and represented clients in divorce proceedings and other various applications at Family Court.

Prior to joining Hamel-Smith, Candice spent several years at another law firm as a Senior Associate. She acted for clients across a full range of real estate matters. This exposure has honed her conveyancing expertise in advising major financial institutions and property developers on residential and commercial mortgages and other security transactions.

Candice joined the firm in August 2022, as a Consultant in our Property and Estate Department and advises our corporate and land developer clients.
